"He was called out of a place of comfort to reach the least spiritual area around; He's a diamond. He's cutting through the seemingly 'uncutable' and He's beaming as a light that's uncomparable"
The pastor said this quote the other day when sending off a young man. It's pretty deep. I want to be a diamond. That's all.

Today one of my teachers said to me "Your writing has actually improved."
Now that's not the first time some
idiot someone ;) has said this to me while attempting to give me a complement.
"Your hair actually looks good today". Is my favorite one.
I mean I cannot disagree with them.
My point is, even though she sorta down played the complement with throwing actually in, I liked the complement it meant a lot to me that she noticed and took the time to complement my essay. And I haven't heard that it a while. I like RAD, uplifting words. Holler.

Wow!! Right now I have such an overflowing plate or tasks right now, but by God's grace my energy levels are high and I'm super motivated to get everything done/stay balanced with all my activities. Praise Jesus for that! I just feel so refreshed. And thats a really good feeling when combating all this busyness. Divine devotions/quiet times, my favorite worship jams on repeat, oh and that fun Starbucks date I had with my home girl Erinn (she really has two n's! How unique?) on Sunday those may be a few of my other secrets to staying refreshed. It was so refreshing to hear all her tales of the fruit that has already been harvested since she has started college and just catch up. My friends are rad.
That's Erinn and I. Did I mention she writes a killer spoken word?

Soooo back in January I was walking home from work (more deats about that later) but I work at a retirement/nursing home type place, it was a little after 7 and dark out and most of the street lights were out (#mylife) there is this random barn in the campus of the nursing home that these two FOXES, a mom and a baby fox, came out of nowhere and decided it would be rad to chase me until I had to climb up a light post that had a mini stoup on where I posted up on until they got a grip and decided to find dinner elsewhere. These kind of things happen to me ALL THE TIME. Its nearly normal. Foxes aren't even supossed to live in my hood.

Hey I'm Jackie! Nice to meet you on this big abyss of interwebness sort of. I have lost bets several summers in a row to start up a blog/vlog to keep track of the funny and sometimes weird and awkard things that happen to me, and how I look at them. I also get pretty depressed when I forget memories too, pssssh, that’s pretty rare though so when I’m an old lady with dementia chasing my staff around because I thought they had I box of pizza (not that I have ever been a victim of this or anything) I’ll have these memories too. I think that humor is one of God’s greatest gifts to His children, right next to creation, salvation, and food those are pretty vital. I try to embrace humor (philipians 4:8 standards) as a form of worship. Seeing homies joyful is pretty much contagious.
(((My biffington Korie and I being hood with our gang symbols in the church bathroom. I'm always so photogenic)))
